The Rediscovery Centre on Salvage Squad

Did you spot the Rediscovery Centre’s Rediscover Paint Programme on Salvage Squad?

This new show sees a team of interior designers, upcyclers and tradespeople transforming Ireland’s tired, old rooms into unique and stunning showstoppers with a twist - they can’t buy anything new!

The team were shown around the Rediscovery Centre and provided with reused paint, to help them in their mission to prove you can achieve the home renovation of your dreams, without it costing the earth.

Watch the episode back here! Spot the Rediscovery Centre from 20 minutes onwards.

Rediscovery Centre Shortlisted for the National Procurement Awards

Congratulations to the Paint Reuse Network Member the Rediscovery Centre, who have been shortlisted together with Fingal County Council for this year’s The National Procurement Awards!

The Green Procurement Awards recognises projects that demonstrate a reduction in the impact on the environment as a result of procurement decisions. We’re delighted to have our work with Fingal County Council, bringing reused paint to local communities, featured in these prestigious awards.

Through this project, 1,646 litres of reused paint was procured in 2022, saving nearly 4 tonnes of embedded C02 and providing 22 community groups with reused paint. The National Procurement Awards 2023 ceremony will take place on November 9th, stay tuned to see how we do!
